Telescopic Lightning Protection Mast for Bucket or Concrete Foundations

Air-termination mast for protecting special facilities such as biogas plants, free field PV systems, Ex systems and ammunition dumps against direct lightning strikes.The masts are erected in a bucket foundation (pre-fabricated) or an on-site concrete foundation with foundation basket (to be ordered separately).For detailed imformation on the plug-in system, foundation and installation, please see in installation instructions No. 1729.This air-termination mast system ensures that entire systems / areas are located in the protected volume (lightning protection zone 0B) without installing horizontal air-termination systems (spanning cables).The separation distance s according to IEC/EN 62305-3 between the air-termination mast and the object to be protected must be observed. The air-termination masts are dimensioned according to Eurocode 1 (DIN EN 1991-1-4 + DIN EN 1991-1-4/NA).Advantages of the air-termination mast system:
  • Excavation work can be completed in advance
  • Erection in (prefabricated) bucket foundation on site with comparatively little effort, or
  • Erection in on-site concrete foundations with foundation basket (concrete curing time to be observed for scheduling and erection)
  • With flange plate for fast mounting
  • Easily adjustable with M24 threaded bolts
  • Detailed mounting instructions
  • Verifiable statics (upon request)
