Christian Höhler becomes CTO at DEHN

The family-owned company DEHN has appointed Christian Höhler as CTO as of 01 November 2020. The 51-year-old graduate engineer can draw on many years of experience in the international environment as a development and sales manager. At WERMA, one of the market leaders in the field of signalling in industry and buildings, he was latterly responsible for the Research and Development section.

"In Christian Höhler we are gaining an international development expert who also carries the family-owned company gene in his DNA and who will continue to forge ahead on the path we have already marked out", said Dr Philipp Dehn, CEO of DEHN SE + Co KG: “We are delighted to welcome him to the Executive Board of DEHN.”

Christian Höhler studied electrical engineering at the University of Stuttgart. After graduating in 1995, he worked as a Development Engineer and Project Manager at VALEO, a leading manufacturer of electronic automotive components, where he was the driving force behind customer-specific development projects. As Assistant to the Managing Director he gained valuable insights and experience in corporate and change management before taking over responsibility for Sensor Development Europe in 1999. 

After a further four years as Sales Director of a family-run business in the field of production and automation technology, he moved on to become Vice President of R&D at WERMA Signaltechnik, one of the market leaders in the fields of signalling in industry and buildings as well as software solutions for increased efficiency in production. In addition to this role, he assumed responsibility for quality assurance, the software section and international assignments in China.

In the DEHN Executive Board, Christian Höhler succeeds Dr Thomas Schöpf, who will leave the company and turn his attention to new professional challenges.
